The Dr. Margarete Fischer-Bosch-Institute of Clinical Pharmacology (IKP) conducts research at the Bosch Health Campus on improving drug therapy. It is considered the largest scientific research unit in the field of clinical pharmacology in Germany and enjoys a high international reputation.

Clinical trials are of great importance for medical progress and are an indispensable part of being able to better assess the effectiveness and tolerability of drugs. This requires drug studies to be carried out with volunteers (= healthy study participants).
